Haley Building A Bubble Nest

Today when I got home I noticed that Haley had calmed down and was gliding peacefully through the water. I shut her light off for a couple of hours to give her some rest and cool the temperature of the tank.  It only took about 2 hours for the temperature to drop 2 degrees to 74F and I decided to turn the lamp back on.  After I did this I noticed a line of bubbles at the edge of the water all the way around aquarium.  I had read about males blowing bubbles just before spawning but never a female.

@HamsterHammy inspired me to get a new pet. But a hamster, gerbil, mouse or rat wasn’t going to work because of my cats. I even didn’t quite like the idea of fish, but they had lived around my cats before, so I figured I’d give it another shot.

Horse in the Snow

Wasn’t much of a blizzard at all. Yesterday it started out with a number of thunderstorms, tornadoes, lightning lasting pretty much all day long. The rain died down around dark, but that’s when the winds picked up.
